NARRATIVE

Carmen Barrera is a Spanish author whose work blends intimate narrative, cinematic language, and emotional exploration. She writes upmarket contemporary fiction with a strong psychological and relational focus.

Her debut novel, LENA, is the first installment of a completed trilogy written in both English and Spanish. Conceived in parallel in both languages, the trilogy preserves the same voice, atmosphere, and narrative architecture across versions. She is currently developing a narrative non‑fiction project about a British musician, approached as an intimate cultural portrait.

Life shaped into story.

“Every now and then, Lena thought it was time to leave. Suddenly, she decided not to do anything stupid. She felt like staying.”
